  · project member on the Joint Project Grant (The Royal Society, collaboration of Univ. of Leeds with Univ. of Belgrade, Serbia): "Computational methods for the design optimization of quantum optoelectronic devices", awarded in May 2002, duration 2 years (UK Project leader Dr P. Harrison)
  · visiting research fellow on the EPSRC Research Grant obtained specifically for Prof. V. Milanovic and dr J. Radovanovic (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, UK), "Developing new optimization techniques for design and realization of mid- and far –infrared quantum cascade lasers", awarded in April 2003, duration 1 year 

In june 2004., as an “outstanding young researcher in physical sciences” selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology (Serbia) and the European Commission, Research Directorate-General, to represent Serbia and Montenegro at the 18. International meetings of Nobel laureates in Physics with young researchers in Lindau, Germany
