Graduated Faculty of Electrical Engineering
(Department of Technical Physics) in Belgrade in 1980.
Postgraduate studies in field of science of
materials finished with MSc degree in May 1986. at University of
Belgrade.
She spent one year (1988/89) at Department of
Physics of Timirjazev academy – Moscow, where she specialized
vibrational spectroscopy of undoped conducting polymers. She was
working with Prof. L.A. Gribov.
Ph.D. thesis completed in April 1992. at
University of Belgrade. The title was: Vibrational spectroscopy
of conducting polymers: poly(p-phenylene vinylene) and
polyaniline.
When carbon nanotubes appeared, she calculated
vibrational properties of some groups of nanotubes in the frame
of model developed for polymers.
Now she deals mostly with calculations of
vibrational properties of semiconducting nanoparticles (CdS,
PbS,...) in various matrices i.e.QDs.
