   - Development of new low platinum loading electrocatalysts for fuel cell.
   - Development of new methods of platinum submonolayer deposition on various metal substrates.

   - Study of electroless deposition of Au on Ru(0001) surface.
   - Study of Ru(0001) electro-oxidation.
   - Chemical deposition of RuO2
   - Study of electroless deposition of Pt on Pd(111) and Ru(10-10) surfaces
   - Developed a non-ultra high vacuum procedure for two dimensional growth of ruthenium oxide (RuO2(110))on ruthenium single crystal (Ru(0001)), by gas phase chemical oxidation, with similar quality of ruthenium oxide as with ultra high vacuum techniques.
